How Long Will It Take To Conceive Again After Abortion?
Question: Hello Doctor
I got married last year September,I am 27,my wife is 25,it has been more than seven month,my wife got conceived last December and when we took first scan,no heat beat,scan result is blighted ovum as per doctor advice, we have done D&C in the month of January, now we are trying for baby, she has not conceived, her period cycles are regular, please confirm do we need to go for any tests will it take some time after abortion.

2. If you are in hurry you can opt for follicular growth scan which shows dominant follicle in ovary and best time to try for pregnancy.
3. You have good chance of conception. Dont worry.

Thanks a lot for your answer, just we had a fear about our quality of my sperm or her eggs,that could be reason for not conceived now and reason for abortion also, lets wait for some time doctor.

It is not necessary that this should repeat. Be at peace and keep trying. If you don't conceive in next 6 months then see an infertility Specialist.
