Question : I had a bowel impaction 3 days ago that was relieved without hospitalization. How long will the lower abdominal pain persist?

Hello,

If impaction is relieved then the pain should have settled by now.

I would suggest you to take a laxative like lactulose 30 ml stat to clear up your bowel.Most likely the pain is due to inflammation in intestine caused by bacteria and protozoa.
Narco 10 is good for visceral pain i would suggest you to take an anti inflammatory like ibugesic twice daily( to settle down inflammation).

Take a bulk forming agent like isapghul husk two table spoon full with half glass of XXXXXXX warm water.
Follow up after 2 days.
