How Many Hours Should A 76 Year Old Should Sleep?

Question: I am age 76,and my dr said I dont need more than 8 hrs sleep per night. and to check my sleep hygeince.I use 3 liters of 02 at night, have sleep apany for about15 yrs and use 2 liters of 02 some during the day.she rx 25 mg of zolof.any suggestions? Larry Partain

I have 1 kidney,gfr of 29 and creatin 2.2. Kidney taken out 05/2016.I have been a diabetic 16 yrs. controlled by glipizide 3 per day at 5 mg.treated by my family doctor.What would be the advantage ,if any of going to an endroconoligist. XXXXXXX Partain
