Question: My blood pressure is now 114/61 HR 53 I take 25 mg Toprol SR and 2.5 lisiniprol. How much would my blood pressure likely rise if I stopped taking those meds for a few days.?

From this information, your blood pressure seems well controlled. I will not encourage you to try stopping your medications for a few days as what maintains it normal are the drugs and not that your blood pressure has returned to normal. Rarely do patients get off their high blood drugs especially when the diagnosis was correctly made.

It is impossible to tell how high the blood pressure will rise if drugs are stopped. However, it is always a high risk stoping these medications abruptly as they can cause rebound effect with skyrocketing blood pressure numbers.

In all, no one can tell for sure but it is a risk I strongly discourage.
