Question: How often do women get a false positive on a stress test with no imaging? I had a duke treadmill score of 4.

False positive tests are rare. Reported however in about 5% of times in most published series.

Hi and thanks for the query,

I saw your results in the attachment. I am afraid the results do not contradict in my humble opinion.

Interpretation of results takes into consideration other clinical parameters.

As I mentioned, false positives are really rare, but do occur. In case the management done after the diagnosis from a test results does not produce the expected result, it might be indicated to get another test done, or a clinical reevaluation. The opinion of the doctor for other tests or other diagnostic possibilities might need reconsideration. I do not think it is about contradiction.
