Question: how often do people who are retired need to change clothes?ome say you should onlly wear clothes one day. itseems too me that daily changes of underwear should be automatic.However trousers and shirts should be O.K. for several wears>e advise what is ordinary and proper? XXXX, COPD victim

Brief Answer: Inner wear should be changed daily. Detailed Answer: Hello XXXXXXX Yes you are right, undergarments should be preferrably changed daily and if possible after a bath or a sponge bath. For the outer wear there is no hard and fast rule. They can be changed after 2 or 3 days or even twice a week depending on once convenience, how much one sweats and how fast the clothes get dirtied. Since you are suffering from COPD, maintaining personal hygiene in your case is very important to avoid infection which may lead to acute exacerbation of COPD.
