Practin may be used for short duration.

Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
Dexona is a steroid. It is life saving drug in many medical emergencies.
However using it for any other inappropriate use like weight gain is going to cost you innumerable side effects that you can even count.
Dexona is not at all recommended for weight gain. Please don't even try it.
As far as Practin is concerned, it can help you gain weight by increasing appetite.
It can cause sedation , drowsiness and in long term use can cause liver problems.
So, if you have low appetite you may use Practin for a short duration under guidance of your doctor.
