Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
A crick in the neck can usually be taken care of by taking mild pain killers in combination with a muscle relaxant. Doing a hot fomentation and applying a local analgesic gel will be helpful. Avoid using a pillow and any abnormal neck positions.
It usually takes around 2 weeks for the pain to subside completely. You can get the necessary medicines prescribed from your physician after a physical examination.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Please accept my answer in case you do not have further queries.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
Dr. Praveen Tayal.
