What will be the side effects if I increase the dosage? Also for how long will I need to continue this medication before I am cured and I can discontinue?
Brief Answer:
As explained below
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
There are not much side effects with this medicine. You will have to monitor your BP as it can cause high BP. Other side effects may include common cold symptoms, such as a runny nose, urinary tract infection or a headache.
If the desired improvement in symptoms is not seen by 8 weeks, we increase the dosage and usually, it is a long-term medicine but your treating doctor will monitor your overactive bladder symptoms and BP and alter the dose accordingly.
Yes, your doctor may ask you to discontinue or keep you on low dose depending on the improvement.
I hope this answered your query.
