How Should Intermittent Right-sided Chest Pain And Pain From The Left Shoulder And Neck Radiating Down To The Fingers Be Treated?

Question: Hi Doc,
From past two months i have having this mild left chest pain(on and off)- Sometimes feels like gas pain and sometimes like muscle pain.
With chest, the pain starts from my left neck, back left shoulder blade shoulder and goes down till my hand and fingers. Sometimes its tingling or numb feeling in the hands, specially in the morning.
Back shoulder blade, and hand pain increases while resting or sleeping and no pain during regular activities.
Also, when i sleep on my chest down, it hurts and feels heaviness.(Doc said may be due to inflammation).
Please advise, this is giving me serious anxiety problems. Doctors said, it must be some muscle spasm which would heal down but its been two months and no relief. infant the pain in the left arm increased now.
Chest pain is not all the time but on and off now.

Brief Answer:
Get evaluated as advised and take medication
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
Possibility of cervical radiculopathy is likely.
Imaging of cervical spine should be done.
Pain killer with muscle relaxant like aceclofenac or etoricoxib with thiocholchicoside should be tried.
Local pain reliever ointment should be used too.
Pregabalin or Gabapentin can be tried too.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
