Brief Answer:
Most probably an obstruction in ureter.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The spasmodic pain in the area you described is usually due to ureteric colic.
There may be some obstruction in the upper ureter on left side.
Another reason can be colitis.
This can be well diagnosed by tests of urine, blood and stool.
Ultrasonography of abdomen and X-ray of abdomen.
Please get these done to get a probable diagnosis so that definitive investigations and treatment can be conducted.
Till then you may please take anti-spasmodic for relief of spasms.
Please give feedback once the investigations are done.
Take care.
Please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
Regards.
