depends on amount of alcohol, usually 12 hours

Detailed Answer:

It depends on amount of alcohol, but if you take alcohol and melatonin together you may feel very drowsy.
To be sure you should wait 12 hours for alcohol to be metabolized and then you can take melatonin.
