Question : I and my wife had sex on 4th and 5th XXXXXXX she was having her ovulation that time. when can we take beta hcg test for getting a positive result? she is showing early pregnancy symptoms from 8th.

Usually you can take the test within 10 to 15 days after the expected day of menses of the next cycle. That would be approximately 20th of next month.

that's however for the ideal method.

A urine pregnancy test available for commercial purposes is easily and inexpensively available. And it can be tried starting 20th of the current month . However, if the test is negative we will have to wait.

One can also get a ultrasound of needed.
