If you have active lifestyle where you have to run or play sports then complete ACL year needs surgery for reconstruction.

If you have sedentary lifestyle like sitting job or moderate walking then surgery not really needed.

There is higher risk of knee arthritis after ACL year if do not have reconstruction surgery.
