Brief Answer:
Medical treatment is effective in most

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.

Medical treatment with antiepileptic drugs help achieve seizure control in about 70% of patients. Both keppra (levetiracetam) and frisium (clobazam) are good and effective medications for treating epilepsy. If your son's seizures are under control, then, you may continue the same medications.
If medicines do not achieve seizure control, then, epilepsy surgery is required in about 20-30% of patients.

I hope it helps.

Please get back if you require any additional information.
