First of all get yourself and your husband fully checked up by a Urologist and Gynecologist to have a ll the tests. Get semen analysis of your husband done. Rectify any abnormal findings and get treated to get pregnancy.

Yes, to calculate your period cycle, you have to calculate from the first day of bleeding of the last period - to the first day of the next cycle.

If your cycle is of 28 days the ovulation occurs on 14 th day as being the middle date.

Ovulation: Occurs around 14 days prior (before) the expected first day of the next cycle.
