How To Calculate Ovulation Days With Regular Periods?

I have few questions on sex and sexual behavior as follows:
1. In order to make a baby, what is your recommendation on the frequency of sex that I should have with my wife - daily? Twice a day or more or once in every two days?
2.If I want to have multiple times of sex per day, will it have an impact on the quality of my sperm?
3. I travel a lot and sometimes I am far from my wife and don't wish to have sex with another person. I prefer to use masturbation and for this I masturbate once or twice a day during my absence from my house. Does masturbation hurt my fertility? Are there any side effects and problems with masturbation?
4. In terms of timing, when it is recommended to have sex with the partner in order to make a baby - before or after period? I wish to know the timing of which I am likely to fertilize and shouldn't miss to have sex.

Answer 1 and 4: Your first and fourth question are somewhat related. Answer of them as below.
To have a baby male sperm should meet to female ovum with successful intercourse/sex.
Male sperms are present daily in semen but woman's ovum comes once only during one menstrual cycle.
Ovum is available for 2-3 days for fertilization after ovulation.
Ovulation occurs around 14th day from the first day of menstrual cycle starts in 28 days regular cycle. For example, if your wife's last menstrual date is 25th December and her cycle is regular 28-30 days, her ovulation will be around 8th January. (25 December plus 14 days means 8th January)
If you do regular sex on 8,9,10 January, chances of having baby is more. You can have sex once or twice a day during these 3 days.
Answer 2: Multiple attempts of sex in a day affect quantity of sperms but not the quality.
So in regard to first and fourth questions you should avoid sex before ovulation period. In above example, you should not do sex or masturbation on 5,6,7 January(means 11th,12th,13th day of last menstrual cycle). It will create more density of sperms in semen and chances of pregnancy increases.
Answer 3: Masturbation does not affect your fertility nor it is harmful. Masturbation is a natural process done by almost 90-95%of the males in the world. During unmarried life or when wife is away. Masturbation is very safe, harmless and effective way to satisfy sexual desire. I appreciate your attitude of being loyal to your partner.

Thanks for the detailed explanations. All are clearly presented. However I would prefer if you could base your example on the actual cycle of my wife. Below are the dates of my wife's last three cycles:
October: 12th - 16th.
November: 13th - 17th.
December: 16th - 20th
By the way, is it possible to get a period in the first month of pregnancy?
