Question : My last period was on 1-April-2014. On 10-Jun, the fetus got miscarried and on doctor's suggestion, I took Mifegest 200mg at 5PM and my bleeding started on 11-Jun at 3:30pm, in the form of some clots. Then I took cytolog, 800mg through oral administration. Bleeding started only for 3 hrs and then stopped, there was no massive flow. So, again on doctor's suggestion I took cytolog 800mg on 14-Jun through vaginal administration. But there was no bleeding. Urine report was also normal. Please suggest me whether abortion was completely done or still remains.

NEGATIVE urine test is MOSTLY suggestive of successful termination of pregnancy. However, I suggest you to undergo one pelvic ultrasound scan to check placental tissue or retained bits. It is MANDATORY following medical abortion for confirmation.

Next management can be done only after reviewing pelvic ultrasound scan result. You must consult with Gynecologist following test report.
