Question : I have symptoms of hypothyroidism, but my tsh is 1.6. Do I need to get the other thyroid test?

Hi ,
TSH alone cannot totally describe the thyroid status of your body. You also need T3T4 fT3 and fT4 for a good understanding of the problem and to say whether there is thyroid problem in you or not.
Thyroid disease symptoms match many other diseases like depression, heart failure, pcod , etc.
so you need to undertake all the above mentioned thyroid tests to rule out thyroid disease
