Question : Hi,

I have my periods commencing on 21 july. But they didnt happen.So I am worried about the pregnancy.
I want to avoid pregnancy.
Please suggest way forward.

Hi,

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1) You were supposed to get periods by now. But you didnt.

2) It is possible that periods are delayed by 4 to 5 days once in a while. You may not be pregnant in the first place.

3) To confirm pregnancy get serum beta hCG blood test done. This will confirm pregnancy.
