How To Control Throid ?
Question: My daughter is downsyndrome, she has 3 episodes of fainting. First one, the ambulance was call and she was diagnosed with dehydration.Blood test was done found she is low on b12 and low on d. Her thyroid is like is like a roller coaster and doctor keeps lowering meds and increasing it. Her blood count is 3.2 wbc. Yesterday, her right eye went to the inner corner and stayed there for a few seconds. What doctors should my doctor go to and what test should she have. She had the omecron virus and some said she may have POTS. Her blood pressure may be causing all these things Her factor does not give me referrals or info on what to do. My daughter is 28 years old.
Brief Answer:
Get her thyroid and blood sugar checked. Go to endocrinologist
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I read your query and here is my advice.
I think you need to visit an endocrinologist.
I think she may get tested the thyroid hormones and also blood sugar levels fasting and HbA1C.
Sometimes low thyroid and hypoglycemia may be a cause of fainting.
POTS may be a cause too.
So as a conclusion I believe that she should be controlled by an endocrinologist.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.
