How To Cope With Impatient Tenured Colleagues While Learning The New Processes?

Question: Hello Doctor

I would need your advice with this problem I have at work.
My work knowledge is probably not at par with the years of experience I have, so I am always a little too polite with everybody in my team, as this is my time to learn. So some of my colleagues take my polite behaviour for granted and start making assumptions about my abilities. But I've started to feel that I should start speaking up a little and not be an idiot in the team, who everybody thinks is good for nothing. On the other hand I fear if my speaking up would hamper relations with my project team members, and this is my first project with this firm.
I keep thinking about this and it has started to take a toll on my health.
Could you please guide me here??

Thanks

Brief Answer:
YOU need to speak up for cause

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for using Health Care Magic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

From the available description I feel what you are thinking to do should be done as son as possible. I understand that relationship is important but relationship can not be maintained by one person. It is reciprocal gesture and every stakeholders should give due respect.

I mean to say that if somebody takes advantage of you, definitely it will hamper your performance and ultimately relationship with colleagues and others. It is never ending process and some point you need to speak up for yourself.

In other words you need to use your assertive skills in proper way without using any aggression and at the same time demonstrating that you have the share of capabilities and know enough to use them.

I hope this helps you.
If you have more questions feel free to write back to me.
Thanks and regards.
