                                    Brief Answer:
Management of acne
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your query.
I would recommend you to apply salicylic acid 1 percent face wash twice daily and apply benzoyl peroxide 2.5 percent gel on the pimples and pores at night.
Also use a broad spectrum sunscreen gel like faceguard gel on the entire face during the day time.
Avoid oiling of scalp, avoid cosmetics and makeup, stay in cool airy environment and reduce the intake of sugary foods.
These measures will help in dealing with acne.
I hope to have answered your query and would be happy to answer any further questions.

Dr Asmeet

Hi doc, thank you for your assistance yesterday.
I had a follow-up query: I had a few slices of pineapple, an hour or so before I washed my face with salicylic acid.
I have been using the said product since the past two-three days once a day, and it has also substantially made my skin dry.
1. Has there anything to do like an allergy, to pineapple for the reason such an inflammation?
2. Is using the product once a day, effective or not? And if so, for how long such usage must be continued until?
3. Will moisturising the skin with lotion/ aloe vera gel or anything (if you could suggest) help me balance the dryness of the skin?
The skin has regular acne & whiteheads. Do advise, thank you.

Detailed Answer:
I have gone through your query and you can apply a mild steroid like desonide cream on the dry and itchy skin twice daily for few days.
You can continue using it once a day and continue it for at least 3-4 weeks.
It needs to be continued for a long time to be effective.
For dryness you can go for regular and frequent use of moisturizing lotion like cetaphil moisturizing lotion 3-4 times in a day.
It will take care of your dryness.
