Sir,
At present we have not having the medical reports readily. But I have known that my daughter has suffered with 'granuala mole in the right side of the brain" it was found from the CT Scan Report. It was first recognised during the year 1995.Then some medicine prescribed by the Neuoroligist. After 3 years, she has secisures. Neurologist has advised to take 'Zeptol 200" . It has been used for several years. After 8 years she got married and has a male child . she has been again faced with secisures during the year 2013. Then ,A Neurologist has prescribed the following the Medicines.
Zeptol 400 mg.
Levipil 500 mg
Lonagip 0.5 mg
the Doctor has advised to follow up the above medicines for 2 or 3 years continuously.
I think that due to using the above medicine she has blood at low level at 9.instead of 12.points.
Hence I request you sir, I may kindly be guided properly to see her healthy and respectibly.

Brief Answer:
Treating the Granuloma will cure the seizures in her case.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.

I can certainly understand your concern now.

I have worked through your query once again in detail.

In case if the granuloma is of tuberculous origin, then she need anti tuberculosis therapy for 9-12 months. This is the most important step.

The currently prescribed drugs can be gradually tapered once the seizures come into control that is based on the seizure free interval.

A seizure free interval of atleast 3 years warrants drug tapering (gradually reducing the dosage of anti seizure medications like
ZEPTOL , LIVIPIL and LONAZEP.

Once this is done , side effects like excessive sedation (drowsiness) will gradually come vanish.

Her current hemoglobin requires oral supplements of Iron to increase the blood hemoglobin. For this l prescribe oral pills of CONVIRON FORTE one pill a day for 3 months.

Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe these pills to you.

To conclude, I stress the need of ATT therapy along with consideration of dosage reduction of all the above 3 Medications by atleast 30% for the next one month and finally getting rid of these 3 drugs in 6 -8 months if there are no further seizures during the taper.

Please check with your consultant Neurologist with regards to above.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank-you

Sir,
Thank you sir for giving valuable advise to my daughter.
But one thing i.e. calcified granuloma and granuloma are one and same. I noticed in the scaned report My daughter is suffering with calcifined granuloma.
I hope you may kindly reply to us.

Brief Answer:
Both terms mean the same.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.

Yes, both mean the same sir.

A long lasting granuloma will undergo secondary degenerative changes like calcium depositions into it.

This is what responsible for causing seizures.

Post your further queries if any.

Thank you.
