Brief Answer:
not possible to know for sure

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.

Only thing that could help is if you could know when the ovulation in January was.
If there was ovulation between 12-18th January then the guy1 is father almost for sure. Ovulation occurs usually 14 days after menstruation, but it is not always in same day of month so if ovulation was somewhere between 17th-24th then both guys can be the father. If ovulation occured 25-29nth then only the second guy could be he father.

So if you dont know the exact day of your ovulation, then the only way to figure out wh the father is,is to do specific test.

Wish you good health. Regards

Brief Answer:
doesnt matter when you took the test

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
It doesnt matter when you took the test. Most todays urine tests are positive even 3-4 days after fertilization so it could have happened at any date that you ve mentioned.

WHAT!!!? I was told implantation takes 5-7 days and it has to do that before hcg levels even rise. And for it to reach 25miu it would be at least another 2 days. I did not know a home urine test could be that sensitive. I took them the day after I missed my period which is why I think guy 1 is the father cause found from Feb 2nd back 14 days is like XXXXXXX 18. And the fact he obviously had so much more sperm in there than the other guy if the other guy even had any. But that's crazy I was told 10 days dpo was the earliest you could get a positive 9 if your lucky

Brief Answer:
it depends on tests

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome. It depends on sensitivity of the test but most tests today can reveal pregnancy 4-5 days after fertilization so in your case both partners can be the father. However, if your period was supposed to be 1st Feb then ovulation should have been around 18thjan,3 days more or less. Spermatozoide can live for3-4 days and it means that all intercourses between 15th-24th could have lead to pregnancy. There is higher possibility that it happend 18-22th but this cant be proved for sure without testing

Yes this makes more sense to me I have to get a test to know 100% anyway. And it said the test I took could work 4 days before missed period. It was 25miu and I read online with that sensitivity it would take at least 10 days and at that point I just waited 4 more days till my missed period for more accurate results. 3-5 days after fertilization is more than a week away from period. I know blood test are that sensitive but the test I took was average so to say. But I also got 4 positives back to back with afternoon urine. Which tells me I was a little pregnant more than 8-10 days I would think like you said only way to know 100% is the DNA test but it sounds like guy 1 would be the father over guy two

Brief Answer:
generally yes

Detailed Answer:
Yes, you are right about those things and we can say that there is higher possibility that guy 1 is the father, but still, this is not enough te be sure about it and it is not unimportant thing to know the real father of your child.

SO in every case you ll need dna test
