                                    Brief Answer:
Need not worry much
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear
Thank you for the details given
His weight for age is between 3rd and 50th percentile(just enough)
Height for age is also between 3rd and 50th percentile(just enough)
Weight for height is between 50th and 99th percentile(enough)
This means that, his weight and height is a bit on the lower side considering his age, but weight is enough considering his height. In other words, lower weight is caused by a shorter height.
Considering his parents height, he is growing as expected and not too short. We take short stature as significant and investigate when height is lower than 3rd percentile. Here is is just above 3rd- so we need not worry much at this point.
Now, what we can do to improve:
1. Maintaining a good nutrition is the most important thing- ensure a balanced diet with enough vitamins and minerals. A protein source(egg/meet/pulses/dairy) and green leafy vegetables/fruits should be there in all the meals. Adding some oil/ghee will help to increase the calorie density of diet.
2. Screen for anemia and hypothyroidism - by doing a blood tests( CBC, TSH). If anything abnormal, this can be easily treated and will reflect in his growth rate.
3. We can reassess after 6 months to see the trend and decide regarding further plan.
I hope this answer will help
If you need further clarification, I will be happy to do
