Question : What treatment could I use to get rid of dark spots caused by scabies? I had my second treatment on 5/3/2014 and I still itch. Is that normal? How do I know if I am cured or not?

I went through your query and understood your concerns.

Effective treatment for scabies infestation becomes noninfectious with in a day, itching and rash may persist due to dead mites for few weeks. Antihistamine or calamine lotion relieves itching.

To prevent re infestation beddings and clothing should be washed in hot water and heat pressed. Close contacts, even asymptomatic needs to be treated simultaneously.

Scars usually fade and disappear slowly. Usually we don't prescribe any cream as it more prone to cause allergic dermatitis. If it doesn't fade in 2 or 3 months, then you can use skin lightening cream.
