How To Improve Ejection Fraction Naturally?

default
Posted on Mon, 16 May 2016
Question: two years ago my ejection fraction was 51, now it is between 40-45. I have been taking coreg cr for years now. I am 57 and in pretty good health - have issues with PVC's and lately they have increased again. My Cardiologist wants me to start taking lisinoprel to increase the E.F. and said it would help the kidneys not incur any problems. I think often Dr's although they are wonderful do not ask about underlying causes but are ready to give us another RX as the cure all. I want desperately to try and improve my E.F. naturally - either exercise, cut back on my varying work hours ( I eat healthy and have given up red meat pretty much). Any help I would so appreciate!!!
Some additional information - I also take Pravastatin 20 mg and my cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, and LDL are perfect. I do not smoke (never have), only once in a while I will have a small glass of wine.

Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

My advice are that you should continue with healthy lifestyle and diet and should use the following supplements and enzymes to improve your EF:
- Coq 10
- Vitamin D supplements
- Pycnogenol

You should continue with these supplements for at least 3 months to see any improvement. This supplements together with lisinopril will help to improve EF.

Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!

I was really hoping your answer would Not include the lisinoprel. Can't routine exercise along with the supplements you suggested help my ejection fraction improve? I am really scared to take this medication.

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

As long as you are afraid to start lisinopril right now you may use for the first three months lifestyle changes and above mentioned supplements.

If after three months there will be no improvement, you should start lisinopril.

Wish you health!
