It is a normal variant, need not to worry.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Welcome to health care magic,
Your husband's blood report is essentially within the normal range and having no monocyte or eosinophils or basophils detected or having a lymphocyte count of 39% does not suggest the presence of any disease but it is a normal variant only.
You need not be worried about it.
Monocytes are type of White blood cells which are part of our immune system, there main function is phagocytosis, antigen presentation, cytokine production etc produced in the bone marrow.
Most of the monocytes stays in spleen and will come out into circulation in case of infection and sometimes the blood test may not show as many of them.
Zero monocytes count is not indicative of any thing wrong in the body.
However, you can repeat your husband's differential count after 1 week.
Eat appropriate protein diet and vitamin diet such as fish, chicken
(if non-vegetarian), eggs, peanut, milk, fresh fruits and vegetables.
Hope this will help you.
Regards,
