Posted on Fri, 27 Feb 2015
Question: I am a bachelor and aged 35. I am getting married next month. Can I use Himalayas kaapikachhu and confido tablets together for better spermcount and to have a baby early? My erections are fine but not lasting longer. I do masturbate regularly based on my mood. I workout usually like jogging and ab workout 5 days a week. Due to my age I am worried about to have a baby so early. I thought it could be better to take a herbal medicine which will act as an aphrodisiac and increase my libido and sperm count. I request you to guide me on this. some times i too feel anxiety due to my work pressure. Do I need to stop masturbating. I am smoker with 4 -5 smokes per day

Brief Answer:
Reduce or quit smoking. The herbal medicines are not recommended.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through the issues mentioned. Congratulations for your upcoming marriage. Let me mention that the act of sex has two broad components: the bodily or physical component and the mental or psychological component. Unless the two go hand in hand, you might not get a proper output. So, I insist that you be patient till you finally get married. Foreplay would have a major role to play in this regard. I would recommend going in for prolonged foreplay where you two gradually get aroused more and more as you get involved. With proper involvement and with control over the process you will be able to last longer. The simple technique would be to go slow when you are about to reach the peak. This will delay ejaculation and give rise to proper culmination of the sexual act.

Please note that libido and sperm count are two different things. Practically they are unrelated. Proper foreplay and involvement should be enough to enhance your libido. I would not recommend use of the herbal medicines that you mention. There is no proven evidence that they actually work. On the other hand, I would recommend you to take folic acid tablet (folvite 5 mg) and zinc supplements (like Cobadex CZS tablet) regularly since this combination has been proven to increase the sperm count as well as motility. Please note that apart from other negative health effects, smoking has adverse effects on sperm count as well as quality. I would strongly recommend that you try to give up smoking altogether. The determination is the most important factor in this regard.

You need not give up masturbation. Masturbation is just a matter of own choice and can be continued at will. But at the same time let me mention that the things that you generally might keep in mind during masturbation are often far from the real world situation and hence can give rise to dissatisfaction since your expectations might not be realistic.

Maintain a healthy lifestyle including regular morning walk and exercise. Eat healthy. Try to avoid stress. Do not worry, things would be fine.

Hope that helps.

You've made me comfortable. I have a question on the usage of folic acid tablet (folvite 5 mg) and zinc supplements ( Cobadex CZS tablet). I mean how many days should I take this medication and at what time I need to take per day. It could be great if any diet chart for regular increment in sperm and semen, pls provide.

Brief Answer:
Take the medicines at a fixed time of the day for 6 months

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

Thanks for writing back.

These two tablets can be taken at any fixed time of the day. I would prefer them to be taken daily after breakfast. Taking them for 6 months continuously should be advisable. Hopefully, your wife would have conceived by then if you two decide to proceed fast.

I am not going into a diet chart as there is no specific dietary change specifically needed in this regard. I would just insist you to go for a regular healthy diet. I would insist you not to go for big gaps between meals. Small but frequent meals are better.

Hope that helps.

Brief Answer:
No problem if the medicines are taken along

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.

There is no problem if you take Rabekind CP or similar medicines along with folic acid and zinc supplements. There are no constraints regarding the medicines that I mentioned. However, I would insist that for your gastric problems, avoid long gaps between meals. Take small but frequent meals.

Hope that helps.
