I have a wound on my stomach from complications with surgery 20 months ago. A skin graft is most likely the next step to help heal. I have had blood work over this time and some of my liver enzymes have been high. My Dr. would like me to get my albumin level up a little more to move forward. I'm not drinking alcohol and doing my best with protein in my diet. Thank-you.

                                    Brief Answer:
Diet changes.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and thank you for asking again.
You are already in a good way to improve albumin levels . You may increase eating egg whites, chicken breasts, turkey, nuts, fish, cottage cheese, greek yoghurt which are all good sources of protein and albumin.
Alcohol plays a role in reducing albumin levels in blood so this is why you need to stop having it.
If you continued so you may see results soon.
