Brief Answer:
there are other options.

Detailed Answer:
Dear user, hi! welcome to HCM. management of diabetes though seems simple , it is not so.
looking at your report, it appears that you are doing fairly well, but your HbA1c is little high. So, i would like to know, since when are you on medicines for diabetes? and what was your previous HbA1c?
if you have recently started say 2-3 months back, and your HbA1c is improving, i would suggest , continue same treatment , do not change. if you are obese and want to lose weight, then the change recommended is good. if you are thin , then i would suggest let us not change and add only DPP4 inhibitor. if you are eating two heavy meals, i would agaiin recommend not to change but split your meal into 6 /d. or best would be to do a CGMS - continuous glucose monitoring system, to exactly know what change in treatment is required.
One interesting point is you are 26y. you should be on insulin. but you are doing good with tablets. so are you obese? what is your HOMA IR?
regards!

Brief Answer:
You have BMI 35 kg/m2.

Detailed Answer:
Dear sir, you have a very high BMI , morbidly obese, so the change recommended is right one. Try losing weight, and follow a strict dietary plan.
