Question : Hello doc..... I had my periods from 30 XXXXXXX and it ended on 4th July... I have started taking oral contraceptive Femilon from 1 st day of the cycle... Naturally it wl get over by 20th July but I want my next period after 28th July.. What is the way??? Because as soon as I stop taking femilon... My nxt period wl start by 25th July.... But I want to delay it upto 28th July.. Pls suggest me...

You can start with next pack on 21st.

Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
To delay your periods for 4-5 days after finishing this pack on 20th you can start with a new pack of Femilon from 21st and then continue taking it till 25th. After you stop it on 25th, you will have your periods and start with a fresh pack from day 5.

Thanx doctor for ur valuable suggestions.... I wl do accordingly.... One more thing I want to know that you have told to start a fresh pack from 5th day... Regarding this.... Actually me nd my husband is in distant relationship.. So I used to take contraceptive pills whenever we come in contact..... After 28th July we wl be separate nd wl me on October this year... So in this case shall I need to take femilon on day 5 as u suggested?? Or I wl take it whenever I require???

You can discontinue using it till October.

In that case you can discontinue using Femilon and start using it again in October. You need not resume taking it on Day 5.
