Question : Hi doctor, as per the advice provided, i have taken primolut from 23rd twice a day for 3 days and stopped. I did not get my periods yet!! Hv travel scheduled in 7th hence wanted to prepone by few days. 3rd sept was my LMP.. Any help or advice which can help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance..

In this situation, I suggest you to start Norethisterone Tab again (like Primolut- N) WITHOUT awaiting for coming period to AVOID mess up. It should be taken twice daily and continued till the completion of your spiritual tour (max 2 weeks).
It is the BEST thing you can do to avoid your upcoming period. Your period will resume within 7 to 10 days after stopping them. Don't be worried.

Thanks for the advice doctor. Shall wait till tomorrow and start medicine. Is postpone guarenteed? Prepone did not work, hence asking :)

PREPONE of period can be done effectively if you start taking hormonal pill from the very beginning of cycle (D1). However, you have started lately. Combined hormonal pill is MORE effective in that case. It should be stopped 7 days before expected date.
Another thing, you CAN'T predict withdrawal bleeding (in PREPONE) within given time. It may be delayed or earlier which can mess your planning or tour.
POSTPONE of period is MORE SAFE in comparison to PREPONE. Your planning or tour will be successful with this method. After that, you can get period easily when stopping hormonal pill.
