How To Reduce Body Odour?
Question: I have a body odour issue told to me by my peers and my partner. It's been extremely embarrassing and after much research I suspect it's TMAU. I've been told I have a strong odour in my vagina and on my armpits. It's gets aggravated during stress, before and after sex. It's caused me a lot of emotional turmoil. I've visited a doctor and they have not been able to detect any issue which I believe could be due to limited knowledge. How should I proceed?
I have even been told by my partner that I have bad breath. I keep thinking these are all signs of TMAU but I need to know for sure.

Hi,
Get test done-
TMA challenge test: In some cases, a TMA challenge test may be conducted. This involves consuming a specific amount of a TMA-rich substance (such as fish) and monitoring TMA levels in breath or urine samples over a period of time.
Currently, there is no cure for Trimethylaminuria (TMAU), but there are management strategies that can help minimize the impact of the condition on body odor.
Dietary modifications: certain foods high in trimethylamine (TMA) worsen symptoms. These foods include fish, eggs, legumes, certain vegetables, and some high-protein foods. Restricting or avoiding these foods may help reduce the production of TMA and subsequent body odor.
Supplements: taking certain supplements, like activated charcoal, copper chlorophyllin, or probiotics can improve symptoms.
Personal hygiene: Maintaining good personal hygiene practices, such as regular showers with mild, fragrance-free soap, can help reduce the intensity of body odor associated with TMAU.
I Hope Your Query is clear now.
Thank You
