Brief Answer:
It is hard to figure out the cause

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

It is hard to figure out what came first. Both serum creatinine and blood pressure need to be monitored regularly. If kidney function test is normal on repeat testing then nothing to worry.

High serum creatinine and BUN could be from many causes including kidney damage, infection of kidney, dehydration, excessive exercise/muscle injury, medicine use (including trimethoprim, cimetidine, ranitidine, flucytosine, cefoxitin, fenofibrates), excessive intake of meat, long-term high BP or high sugar levels, use of dyes, alcohol, etc. Further testing and your own vigilance can help find the cause. You need to avoid and manage the cause. Cholesterol of 206 is not of worry.

Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Brief Answer:
Diet helps restore kidney function

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

OK so kidney dysfunction is chronic (more than 3 weeks duration)
Following can be tried:
- Good diet helps restore kidney function. I will advise you to take fruits and vegies atleast 4-5 times a day.
- Figure out the cause of kidney problem and avoid it completely. e.g if you are taking any medicine or supplement then avoid it
- Grind some leaves of Raddish to extract few drops of juice. Mix some honey in it and drink twice a day for few days

Medicine can be tried under guidance of a doctor:
- Ayurvedic preparation like XXXXXXX XXXXXXX Tattva Tab Vrikka Sanjivini Vati once a day for 3-5 days
- Thiazide diuretic can help with kidney excretion as well as blood pressure control

Dialysis employed only in severe or stage 4 CKD

Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further
