Question : Im pretty sure this doesnt mean cancer, but could you tell ne what it is from this report? It was a mass removed from my abdominal wall/muscle. My DR out untill monday and Im too curious to wait :)
Microscopic Description
Sections reveal fibroconnective tissue and bundles of
skeletal muscle showing areas of extensive fibrosis, focal patchy
areas of chronic
inflammatory infiltrates, necrosis of the muscles
with collection of the nuclei of the skeletal muscles. Focal areas
reveal minimal small fragment of endometrial stromal tissue and a few
glandular structures which are consistent with endometrial glands.
The areas of fibrosis and necrosis reveal deposition of yellow-brown
pigment which is positive for iron stain with acceptable control. One
area seems to be showing a cyst lining though a definite cyst is not
identified. PK/km
