Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir, I am Dr Mody and I would be addressing your concern,
Considering your age, a Treadmill stress test would be suitable to rule out Cardiac.
Ecg and echo both are taken while you are at rest. Do to know whether your heart is strong enough to compensate when it's under any kind of physical or emotional strain treadmill is an ideal test.
You should go for further evaluation if you have the below mentioned risk facts.
1) breathlessness particularly on exertion
2)you are smoker , obese, no physical activity, stressful life style
3) family history for CAD
4)diabetic, hypertensive, kidney issues
These would put you at higher is k for CAD and further evaluation is needed.
Basic blood investigation and lipid profile sos.
