Brief Answer:
I don't think you need to get tested.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the consultation at my virtual clinic HCM!

No need to get tested.

You can kiss your wife, no harm to her or the fetus and there are least to no chances that you have got the infection even if you didn't show up the symptoms.

Brief Answer:
No need to worry. Such dots are very common.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back with a follow up query. I can understand your concerns.

No need to worry as these solitary white dots appear very commonly on the tongue that may be due simply to local inflammation and goes away at its own. It may be due to the tongue bitten in between the teeth; a sharp tooth is there and sometimes hurts the side of the tongue where it pinches, may be due to the dental work and causes the inflammation on the tongue due to instrumentation.

There is no worry. Apply SOMOGEL on that white spot, keep for 5 min and do gargles with a LukeWarm water with added salt in it. You may take Ibuprofen for fast recovery.

Keep a bland and healthy diet without spices. No fried and junk foods, beverages and caffeinated drinks or chocolates.

No need to worry. It will resolve shortly.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the follow up query and I welcome you back.

I have reviewed the attached pictures and appreciate your efforts.

No there is no need to get worried for the tongue issue. It is simply a local inflammation and will go away shortly. Through proper care and oral hygiene you will be fine soon.

Do brush your teeth twice daily and do gargles too with an appropriate mouthwash. Apply somogel and rest of the instructions are same.
