Question : I had ears cleaned because ear ringing they said month ago no infection I use to take Tylenol pm everyday for allergies I am on statin 10 mg now doesn’t bother me pill I took mucos relief that helps a little it is a high pitch my blood pressure was 131. Over 64 how to stop ear ringing anyway

Hi,

There are many causes of ear ringing. You may be having allergic rhinitis or inflammation of the nose which can cause eustachian tube dysfunction. Eustachian tube is connection between nose and ear. So when eustachian tube gets blocked there can be fluid accumulation in the ear which can cause ringing. Ringing can be due to weakness of the nerve. So start fluticasone nasal spray for 1 month under your ENT doctor's care. Take nasoclear nose drop twice daily. Start steam inhalation. Do a hearing test audiogram if possible. Do valsalva manouvre. Ignore the ringing sound. Don't stay in sound less area. Review after 2 week.
