Question : I have XXXXXXX given potassium pills which are enormous by my standards. I cannot possibly swallow onw whole * must cut it up. is there any problem with this. I was told they have a special coating.

Hi .
You should be first sure that these are not water soluble pills which should be put into water before taking. If,not then you can take less dosage and smaller pills so ask your doctor about other options. Also , it can be cut in two parts but not crushed so try it. Wish you good health. Regards
