Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
In this scenario, the following steps should be followed -
1. A gynecologist should be consulted and pregnancy should be confirmed and dated.
2. If indeed it is 6 weeks, medical abortion pills would be prescribed, generally 1 tablet of Mifepristone, followed by 4 tablets of Misoprostol.
3. Following this, bleeding with cramps and expulsion of fleshy mass would occur within 24 - 48 hours and would continue as spotting for a few days. Follow up scan should be done after 15 days to confirm that pills worked and uterus is empty.
Failing to take these precautions can result in heavy bleeding, infection, failure of pills, undiagnosed ectopic pregnancy etc, which can be life threatening complications.
So please do the needful and see a doctor first.
All the best
Please feel free to discuss further.
