Question: My wife is 29 years and having a kid of 1.5 years. This time she is having unplanned pregnancy of 5 weeks which we would like to terminate. Please guide the best approach suitable for this - whether medical abortion or surgical. Which one is less painful and good for health in term of longterm perspective.

But in few patients there can be an incomplete abortion or excessive bleeding per vaginum and in that case you have to visit a gynecologist.

in case we opt for surgical method whats the procedure, whether under full anesthesia, how long it takes to recover? whats the risk if any?
Also as she is anemic is it risky to go with medical abortion where it is expected bleed even more.
