Question : My would be wife missed her period af5er we got intimate and we are not sure whether she is pregnant or not. Can you please suggest how can we abort of the pregnancy tests are positive. She is missing her period by 3 days

I can understand your concerns.

In case of positive pregnancy test ,for medical abortion she can take MTP Pills (contain mifepristone and misoprostol) (under gynecologist supervision).

According to me ,first she should go for ultrasound to confirm intrauterine pregnancy.
If pregnancy is confirmed, then abortion can be induced with the help of pills under a gynecologist guidance.

Thanks doctor, but is it possible she is tensed so that her monthly are delayed? Can that be checked or induced?

Sorry for late respone.

Stress and anxiety can delay periods but not suddenly.
Has she missed her periods earlier also?

The important thing is to rule out pregnancy.
She can go for urine pregnancy test first.

If pregnancy is ruled out, she can wait for another few days for periods to come naturally.

Hormonal drugs can induce periods but not immediately.

So, it would be best to determine pregnancy first.
