Brief Answer:
Antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medications like Ibuprofen.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query, albeit short and specific.
The treatment of the boil depends upon a few factors:
Duration.
Extent.
Any associated problem, particularly diabetes.
If the boil has appeared within a few days, the main treatment is a proper dose of an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory medications like Ibuprofen if it suits you so that the infection is kept under control the spread is controlled as there is more chances os spread in areas like thigh and abdomen due to fat.
If this is more than a few days, still need the above management and to see if there is formation of an abscess or not. If abscess is formed it may open on its own and drain out or may need a small incision and drainage.
Control of diabetes if you have.

I hope this answer helps you.
Please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication; give feedback and post photos if possible. Palpate the area and tell me the spread/extent, duration etc.
