I don't have the copy of the report. I live in Mexico. I just got home and they emailed me...but were unable to email the report...I go back in a month...I am hoping that if it is cancer, then it is isolated and caught early...that's my big big hope

Heart cancer is a very rare finding

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

Actually cancer in the heart is a very rare finding. Most likely it can be a calcificate or something like that.
Did they wrote in their email that they suspect a cancer, or they just informed you, that they found a nodule.
The localization of the module is also very important, as it can be a clue, to help identity what is it.

The 8mm lung nodule is located in the uppper left lobe of lung. I was a smoker who quit 15 years ago but I did smoke for 22years before I quit. If it's cancer, what are treatments? I feel fine, work out..etc... I discovered this because I went in for a heart scan to check for blockage.

Brief Answer:
Welcome back

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

The location of nodule is more specific for resolved tuberculosis.
I think the probability that the finding is a cancer is not high, most likely, it is something benign.
Anyway, even if it is a cancer, in case of one small nodule, if there is no lymph not involvement, the outcome is good. In this case surgery is indicated. Patients can be cured completely.

Wishing you good health
