Question : I noticed this bump / growth in the tonsil area ok the right side. It is painless, doesnt hurt to touch, its hard but fleshy. Feels almost like a skin tag or wart. Im not sure how long its been there. Had my tonsils out twenty years ago. I do have a hx of hpv, i smoked for many years, 36 year old male.

I have seen the pictures. The lesion is a mucosal tag formed due to compensatory mucosal hypertrophy (swelling due to compensation) very commonly seen after a tonsillectomy. It has been there for long. You must ignore it. There is nothing to be worried about.
