Question : Hi Im 22 years old.. Im sick worried that my hymen is broken.. Is there a way to know without seeing a dr.. Plus, is it possible to send you a picture?

Yes, it is possible to send a picture by uploading a photo using the option provided on the top right corner of this page. Alternatively, you can email it at - YYYY@YYYY . However, in order to visualize the hymen in virgins ( I assume you are one, since you ask this question ), the labia need to be properly parted and then seen, which only a gynaecologist or an experienced person can do. What is the problem in consulting a gynaecologist to check the hymenal status ? Try taking a picture and send it across. I will do my best to reassure you. I was raped once when i was kid.. And im scared that i lost my hymen .. I also cant see a doctor .. And im getting merried soon thats why i wanted to know that my hymen is not broken

Brief Answer: AS BELOW Detailed Answer: Why cant you see a doctor ? That is the only way to confirm that the hymen is intact. The hymen can be ruptured by various other ways apart from sexual intercourse - such as swimming, cycling, vigorous sports, masturbation etc. You can let your husband know this also. Take care.
