Question: Hi, I have had swollen neck lymph nodes for about 3 months one has gotten bigger on second ultrasound. I had a blood test it came back with high crp, I recently done another blood test 3 weeks after the first one and it came back with the crp high again and it had increased from last time, also high ldh, wcc, neutrophils, and alp do you know what this could indicate

In my opinion your situation it's related with some kind of infection,viral or bacterial due to the high CRP and neutrophils

Maybe you need others tests like mononucleosis test or biopsy of lymphonode

I had a couple of tests including the mononucleosis test, they came back negative, they did a fna biopsy of the lymph node but that came back not diagnostic as there was not enough b cells

Then if the situation disturb you, you are symptomatic, and the doctors could not have some diagnosis I will had try again the biopsy for the possibility of getting more material and to make the right decision for the therapy

Maybe i had try some antibiotics like augmentin at first
