Brief Answer:
Abortion pills can only be taken under supervision.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

Thanks for trusting us about your health care.
I can understand your concern here.
Abortion pills ( mifepristone and mesoprostol) should always be taken under supervision because sometimes it may cause severe bleeding, infection and incomplete abortion.
So first you should come to XXXXXXX ( I know it is difficult for you) and consult a Gynaecologist and consume this kit under her supervision.
Self medication cause trouble in some cases.
Hope it is useful, feel free to discuss more information.
Good luck.

Brief Answer:
She can take them orally.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

Sorry for the long delay in my response.

Generally I advice mifepristone 300 mg one tablet on day one and on day three, mesoprostol 200 tab one tablet twice daily for 2 days either vaginally or orally. Bleeding usually starts 4-6 hrs.after taking mesoprostol and can continue till 7-10 days.

That being said, I stress upon the need to see a doctor as in a few cases things get complicated and life threatening. A doctor must be present to address those complications immediately. Further there is a need to repeat an ultrasound scan after 10 days to see whether it is completed or not.

I understand you are unable to travel. But at this point of time, travelling to a nearby location where abortion is legally accepted is my best suggestion to you.

Good luck and Regards

Thank you doctor, we have got total 5 tablets, and suggested to have 1st mifepristone day one and next 4 tablets(mesoprostol) in interval of 12 hours interval, doctor even i am against to do this without presence of doctor, but she cant travel as per her contract you must be knowing how it works in UAE, my cousin sister is with her and i would be there with her,we have no other options left, my cousin she had this before as mentioned above, am sorry to keep you troubling again and again but hope you understand in what boat i am into. And again we can have that ultrasound after 15 days done here, to reconfirm. Also let me know when would be her next periods, i mean it would be normal as before or is there any calculations. can she have any pain killer in between.I understand generally if bleeding happens body become weak, can you please suggest any food or vegetables etc please, i understand we are gona take a tough decession but as she is strong and i dont want to scare her i am asking all this on her behalf. Thank you very much for all your advice and hope we are not bothering you

Brief Answer:
She should take a lots of vegetables and fruits.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

You are most welcome and we are here to help you but you must understand my limitations because we can not see her physically and these drugs can cause harm to her. And the harm can be a very significant one. I am only concerned about her health.

She can have her next period 4-6 weeks after abortion, it can be change from previous one or it can be normal as before.
She can take pain killer if pain is unbearable.
She should take a lots of fruits and vegetables in her diet, drink a lot of water, juices and green tea.
Take a proper sleep and rest.

I can help you within my expertise. However online forum has its limitation and therefore I will not be able to help you beyond certain limits.

Good luck anyway and Regards

thank you very much for your advise...so you mean to say the below is incorrect

1st tablet--mifepristone Eveninf 7 pm thursday
2nd/3rd--Misoprostol next day morning 7 am(excatly after 12 hours)-Friday
4th/5th-Misoprostal after 12 hours ie 7 pm.-Friday

This is how one of my cousin who had here was telling, am confused and hence asking you again and again.

My GF is strong and telling she would manage it alone in her house(PG), but why i am asking is because i am bit worried and cant come to XXXXXXX aswell but for sure the ultrasould will be done in 15 days.Do i need to buy any kind of glucose powder or any such kinds.Again i am sorry to keep distrubing, hope you understand our situation. In anycase hope this thing is getting solved soon without any issues and than we would for sure see you in person in our marriage.

ALSO PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHICH PAIN KILLER SHE NEED TO HAVE IF REQUIRED WHICH WONT REACT WITH THE PILLS SHE WOULD HAVE...THANK YOU SOO SOOO MUCH DR XXXXXXX .would be greatfull to you through out my life time...
Can she have MEFTAL SPAS OR ANASPAS, as she said she use to have this pain killer normally during her monthly periods if it pains...thank you
doctor

Detailed Answer:

You are most welcome.
Yes, she is right she can take meftal spas for pain.

No, this regime is not incorrect but I would prefer my regime in my patients.

No requirement of glucose water but she can take if required.

Hope it is useful, thanks for your kind word.

Doctor....no she couldnt see it...what she said is two clots came out smalll one...can she know when product comes out...its only 5 weeks from 1st day of her last periods, can she feel or see the product when it comes out? some other doctor in this forum said abortion is done...is it still on?is the abortion not yet completed doctor?
doctor
Answered by Dr. Richa Agarwal (6 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Yes, it may complete.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

Yes, maybe it is completed because in early pregnancy only clot can come out and there is not much bleeding.
As in her case as it is very early pregnancy maybe she completed her process.
If abortion is completed she will not bleed further or bleeding may decrease in amount.
So do not take stress and wait and watch.
Hope it is helpful.
Good luck.
